Do you remember how you felt at age 20? Do you think it’s “normal” to feel the way you do now? Do you feel your age, or perhaps a little older? Have you seen someone your age who is in vibrant health? Have you wondered how you can get there, too? Is it really possible?
More and more people are learning of a new method of healing, one that is more holistic and natural, less focused on quick-fixes and more focused on dealing with the root of the problem. For over two thousand years, the great doctors of Chinese medicine have taken both the mind and body into account when looking at imbalance, looking at health from a holistic perspective.
While studying Chinese medicine in graduate school, I was required to study Western pathology, pharmacology, diagnosis, as well as several other areas of biomedicine, and I have great respect for Western medicine. Certainly, there are times when treatment using the conventional Western model is more appropriate.
Western medicine has served patients for centuries with outstanding diagnosis and care, but at the same time, perhaps due to our current healthcare system, fails from time to time. Pharmaceutical drugs can be used as “shortcuts” to reduce symptoms, but they do not resolve the fundamental issues. Physicians cannot spend as much time with patients as they would like to, and average physician-patient contact time has decreased in the last 50 years.
My practice helps patients heal at a deep level and thereby bring them back to a state of balanced health which they once possessed but have lost touch with. If you are here, that means you are ready to begin your journey back to health. Please take your time to look at my website. I am available to answer any of your concerns and questions about Chinese medicine and offer a free consultation to all prospective patients.
